ATHLETICS
There is no better way to prepare for the future than to become totally involved in school activities.
Athletics at Central Catholic is one school activity that provides the opportunity to do just that. Over 60% of Central Catholic students participate in one or more of 45 teams in the eighteen interscholastic sports that are offered. Our teams compete in the Lehigh Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference, The Vikings and Vikettes have had successful programs in Conference, District XI and State competition. Over the past few seasons, we have had individual District Champions in Diving, Wrestling, Girls Cross Country, Girls Track, Boys and Girls Swimming, and Boys Tennis, along with the team championships in Football, Girls Volleyball, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Girls Swimming, and Girls Soccer. Team State Championships have been achieved in Football, Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Girls Volleyball, and Girls Cross Country. Individual State Championships have been captured in Diving, Wrestling, Girls Cross Country and Track.
