Google Suite (G Suite) for Education is the leading productivity platform in education, providing cloud-based document collaboration & file sharing, calendar, email, & more. Google’s services are available whether using a Mac, PC, or mobile device.


Each student at Central receives a unique email address that can be used to communicate with their teachers beyond the classroom. This login information can also be used to access other Google services such as:

  • Google Drive (a cloud-based storage where files are saved)

  • Google Docs (a word-processor, like Microsoft Word)

  • Google Sheets (a spreadsheet program, like Microsoft Excel)

  • Google Slides (a presentation program, like Microsoft PowerPoint)


Because of collaborative features that allow students to edit the same file synchronously or asynchronously, Google Tools have become a staple for schools across the U.S. to help students develop skills that will be important for the 21stcentury.
