Google Suite (G Suite) for Education is the leading productivity platform in education, providing cloud-based document collaboration & file sharing, calendar, email, & more. Google’s services are available whether using a Mac, PC, or mobile device.
Each student at Central receives a unique email address that can be used to communicate with their teachers beyond the classroom. This login information can also be used to access other Google services such as:
Google Drive (a cloud-based storage where files are saved)
Google Docs (a word-processor, like Microsoft Word)
Google Sheets (a spreadsheet program, like Microsoft Excel)
Google Slides (a presentation program, like Microsoft PowerPoint)
Because of collaborative features that allow students to edit the same file synchronously or asynchronously, Google Tools have become a staple for schools across the U.S. to help students develop skills that will be important for the 21stcentury.
