2019-2020 RETREAT OPPORTUNITIES
Retreats are great opportunities to not only delve into your relationship with God but to get to know your
fellow students in a relaxed environment. All students at Allentown Central Catholic need to participate in at least one
retreat in addition to the 40 Hours Retreat, which takes place during school in December.
Registration forms are available in the Campus Ministry Office 2-3 weeks prior to each retreat or as posted in school and on the announcements. Students are welcome and encouraged to participate in multiple retreats throughout the school year.

Kairos XXIII - Tuesday, February 18 - Friday, February 21, 2020
Kairos, the Greek word meaning “God’s time”, is offered to seniors. Kairos is an edifying and popular four-day
retreat offered at many high schools and universities across the nation. The retreat focuses on students' relationships with self,
others, and God. Kairos is led by campus ministers, faculty, and selected senior leaders. The senior leaders give all
major presentations on the retreat; campus ministry and faculty facilitate small group discussion following each major presentation,
and also lead retreatants in morning, evening, and night prayer each day. Various other activities related to the Kairos themes are
also included throughout the days of retreat, together with ample time for rest and recreation. Retreat open to seniors only.
Kairos will take place at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Wernersville, PA.
Departure will be from school on Sunday at 1pm. Return will be in the PITS on Wednesday at approximately 3:30pm.
