Together with our newly appointed Principal, Mrs. Diane L. Young ‘86, and Chaplain, Rev. Philip J. Maas ‘09, it is our great pleasure to announce that Ms. Anna Kachmarski will be joining Central Catholic as Vice Principal for the 2026-27 academic year.
Ms. Kachmarski has a demonstrable record of strategic planning, program development, and innovation, with a strong commitment to promoting academic excellence in a Catholic educational environment. Hailing originally from the greater Scranton area, Ms. Kachmarski is a product of Catholic education from kindergarten through graduate school and has worked in various teaching and administrative positions at a Catholic school in New Jersey over the last decade.
As previously communicated, the addition of Ms. Kachmarski was made in conjunction with the Office of Catholic Education in reconfiguring reporting structures within the school and positioning Central Catholic to be a leader in Catholic Education. This is based on input from the faculty and staff as well as perspectives and feedback from parents. To this end, the Vice Principal position at Central Catholic has been reimagined with a primary focus on enhancing our academic profile and innovative growth.
Please join us in welcoming Anna and her husband to the Lehigh Valley and our Central Catholic family. We are looking forward to introducing Ms. Kachmarski to you in person and giving her the opportunity to meet individually with faculty and staff.
