ACCHS provided academic, spiritual, and athletic opportunities for my daughter, Summer, a 2013 graduate.  When I lost my wife, Amy, the ACCHS family was there to support us during our toughest times. By committing to philanthropic giving in Amy’s memory, I have created scholarships, supported VikingFest and The Central City Project, and donated to the Rockne Hall Renovation. Giving back is something that we are passionate about, to honor Amy and our Allentown Central Catholic family. ”

I am a 2010 graduate of ACCHS and a graduate

of the University of South Carolina. My academic

and athletic experiences as a student at ACCHS prepared me well for life in college. As the current Assistant Athletic Director, I am excited to have

the opportunity to make a difference in the lives

of students today.”

It is through the support of our alumni, community and families that we are able to continue our tradition of
excellence and provide our students with a great education in order to prepare them for the future. Every dollar donated
helps to enrich the lives of Allentown Central Catholic High School students. We cherish your donation and your dedication to
the future of our Catholic community. Thank you for helping us continue our important mission in education.

Many companies and corporate foundations match gifts to non-profit institutions such as ACCHS. Also, matching gifts are a great way to increase support of Central Catholic without additional out-of-pocket expense. Matching gifts are a very important source of support. You can double or even triple the value of your donation and enhance your total gift, by simply notifying your employer of your gift to ACCHS. You may be eligible to submit matching gift claims from both your own and your spouse's employer for the same gift. Contact the human resources office at your employer, your spouse's employer, or even your former employer, if you are retired, to inquire about their matching gift program.

If you have owned a stock for more than 12 months and it has appreciated in value during that time, you would incur a capital gains tax by selling it. However, by giving that stock to ACCHS as a gift, you avoid the capital gains tax and can also claim an income tax deduction for the full fair market value of the gift up to an amount equal to 30 percent of your adjusted gross income. Any unused deduction may be carried forward for up to five years. Electronic Transfers of Shares of Publicly Traded Stock and Mutual Funds. Shares of publicly traded companies and mutual funds may be transferred electronically to ACCHS.

Educational Improvment Tax Credit Program (EITC) and Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program (OSTC)

Are you a business owner? Does your business pay PA State Taxes? Would you prefer to direct those tax dollars to ACCHS to provide student scholarships to support a Christ centered education to students and helping to keep the cost of education for all of our students lower? Then EITC/OSTC is for you! Who can participate? Corporations (C and Sub S), Partnerships, LLC's - any business entity except sole proprietorships can participate. Instead of paying taxes to the state, your business makes a contribution through EITC/OSTC, and receives a 90% tax credit (for a two year commitment). Your contribution can also be deducted from your Federal and state taxes.

Simply put – a corporation, partnership, etc can make a donation of $10,000 – receive a $9,000 direct state tax credit – and can also deduct the $10,000 as a contribution on their Federal return. If in a 35% tax bracket - the net cost for a $10,000 contribution to the school would be $650. Participation in this state program makes a significant impact on ACCHS’s bottom line.
