ATHLETICS SAFE RETURN TO PLAY PLAN
Dear Parents and Student-Athletes,
We are excited to get our student-athletes back to doing what they love. Over the last few weeks, we have spent much time developing a plan for our ACCHS student-athletes and coaches to return to athletic activity. We have developed a plan with input from the Lehigh Valley Health Network, National Federation of High Schools, and CDC with the goal of providing a safe environment that minimizes the spread of COVID-19.
Please take time to review our ACCHS Athletics Safe Return to Play Plan prior to returning to athletic activities. It is important that anyone who has symptoms or feels sick stays home. As part of this plan, we will be screening athletes with temperature checks and a series of questions upon their arrival at all workouts. We will be returning to activities in a phased approach with a limited number of athletes in each group workout. All summer workouts run by ACCHS coaches are voluntary activities.
As we return to play, we will continue to monitor the guidelines of Lehigh Valley Health Network and government organizations for updates on “best practices” throughout the process and make adjustments where necessary. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
