Class of 2021 End-of-the-Year and Graduation Information
This is the end-of-the-year information for all activities pertaining to Seniors. Be sure to follow ALL directives.
In order to participate in Graduation — all academic, retreat, and service hour requirements must be fulfilled.
In addition, all financial obligations must be settled with the Finance Office. Any senior who does not fulfill all requirements
will not be given their cap and gown and may not participate in commencement activities.
All Senior lockers are to be emptied by Thursday, May 27.
iPad and Textbook Return
All textbooks and iPads (including chargers) must be returned the week of May 24. Further instruction will come from the technology office and your teachers. If any resources are not returned (or paid for) you will not be permitted to pick up your cap and gown.
Cap and Gown Distribution
Caps and gowns will be distributed to graduating seniors on Wednesday, June 2 in Masson Auditorium. Please note the time you are to be here.
You may only receive YOUR OWN cap and gown. If anyone is not able to be there at their assigned time, they are to make arrangements with the Finance Office for pickup. No student will be given anyone else’s gown but their own.

Baccalaureate and Graduation Practice
Baccalaureate and Graduation Practice will be held in Masson Auditorium and Rockne Hall on Thursday, June 3 at 10am. Students should report directly to Masson Auditorium and be seated in their assigned seat NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM.
Baccalaureate and Graduation Tickets
Baccalaureate and Graduation tickets will be distributed in theology classes the week of May 24. Each senior will receive an envelope containing SIX tickets for Baccalaureate and SIX tickets for Graduation. Please return any unneeded tickets to the main office. No additional ticket requests will be accepted this year. Please note that all seating is bleacher seating for Graduation and we cannot provide alternative seating. In addition, the restrooms in the gymnasium require the use of stairs. Please have guests plan accordingly. Masks must be worn at all times regardless of vaccination status. Both events will be live-streamed via social media – details to follow. Thank you for your understanding.
Dress Code for Baccalaureate and Graduation
The dress code will be explained in detail at Baccalaureate and Graduation practice. Ladies must be modestly and appropriately dressed, flip-flops and sneakers are not appropriate. Be mindful of your heel height. Gentlemen are required to wear dress pants, dress shirt, tie, and dress shoes.
All regular school dress code requirements regarding grooming are in effect. Masks must be worn at all times regardless of vaccination status. Remember, you are representing yourself, your family, your church, Allentown Central Catholic, and your community!
Baccalaureate and Graduation
Baccalaureate will be held in Rockne Hall on Thursday, June 3 at 7pm. Please gather in Masson Auditorium by 6:15pm for the procession.
You may sit near the people you choose for this evening. At the conclusion of Mass, you will process out and should meet your family at your vehicle.
Graduation will be held in Rockne Hall on Friday, June 4 at 7pm. Assemble in Masson Auditorium by 6:15pm for final announcements and prayer. You will be seated alphabetically for this evening. At the conclusion of Commencement, you will process out and should meet your family at your vehicle.
